Story Background In 2026, a sudden global zombie apocalypse swept across the world, pushing human civilization to the brink of collapse within days. No one knows the true origin of the disaster, leaving only countless rewritten lives and vanished names in its wake. Ji Xingchuan, a cartoonist, has been having recurring dreams of the same post-apocalyptic world for a year. He adapted these dreams into a serialized manga Notes of the Survivor, which unexpectedly became a hit. However, the manga abruptly ceased publication the moment the story reached the "white light on the rooftop"—because the dreams began to overlap with reality. At the same time, Bai Yuan, a special forces soldier from the post-apocalyptic future of 2033, travels back to 2026, bearing the only chance to save the world.
