Your beginnings will be rather humble. You start as a bouncer in an establishment that just hired you. Your job is to make sure there is at least some resemblance of order in this place. It is not just about who you let in, but also keeping track of what’s happening inside. A couple of bikers from rival gangs can spell trouble very quickly, that’s obvious. But usual patrons who become unruly and aggressive when intoxicated are less obvious to spot, yet both have the same potential to start a fight. And sometimes you will need to get your hands dirty as getting into a fight might be the only way to prevent an bigger fight. Managing a roadhouse is not an easy endeavour. It’s not only about making sure the right drinks are served on time, the inventory is stocked correctly, the equipment is kept in working order or hiring employees. It’s a roadhouse in the middle of nowhere often frequented by bikers. Fights will break out, shady deals will happen and you have to manage that as well.
